How Baxoptimized started.
I got into digital marketing because I kept watching businesses get ripped off. Agencies charging $5k for a template site, SEO companies sending monthly reports full of jargon and no actual results. I'd been interested in doing this stuff for years — building sites, setting up Google profiles, getting businesses' phones ringing — and eventually thought, why not do it properly?
I grew up on the south coast of Australia and moved to Portugal at the age of 15 to pursue my dreams in football. But each time I came back to Australia I noticed the same problem here as everywhere else: brilliant tradies, incredible cafés, talented health practitioners — all with terrible websites, or no website at all. Their competition were outranking them on Google not because they were better, but because they had someone who actually understood the internet.
So I started Baxoptimized. The idea is simple: give businesses the same quality digital presence that the big players get, without the big company price tag or the big company bullshit. I do the work myself, I keep my client list small, and I charge honestly for what things actually cost.
No account managers, no 'synergy workshops,' no 47-page strategy decks. Just good websites, smart SEO, and straight talk.

When I'm not building websites.
You'll probably find me down at the beach or training at the football pitch. I'm a massive coffee fan — I've tried every café from Thirroul to Shellharbour and I will have opinions if you ask. I reckon there's something about living on the coast that makes you want to do work you actually care about, and that's a big part of why Baxoptimized exists.
I genuinely like what I do. Building something that helps a business grow is one of the most satisfying things I've found — especially when you can see the leads come in and watch someone's hard work pay off.
